About the ASVAB

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is the most widely used multiple-aptitude test battery in the world. Scores on all of the ASVAB tests (there are 10 sub tests) are used to determine the best job for you in the military. This battery of sub tests measures a individual strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future success. The CAT-ASVAB or computerized version may seem harder or easier than the paper and pencil (P&P) ASVAB because the CAT-ASVAB is tailored to your specific ability level.
