Long Letters
Hello Mr. Moss,
I was a patient of yours this past summer who was preparing for the July
California Bar Exam. You might remember me as the short, heartburn-ridden
woman whose anxiety made me somewhat anti-social!
Well, I thought I’d share the good news that I actually passed the Bar exam
(found out last night)!!! I wanted to extend a special thanks to you for instilling
a sense of inner-relaxation and control when I needed it most.
Thanks for taking the time to calm my body (my heartburn had ceased after a few
sessions) and my mind so that I could perform under such intense pressure.
Take care! Elana M., Esq.
I passed my
Marriage and Family Therapy Exam
and received my license.
After we completed our 1:1 sessions, I faithfully listened to my CD each week for
the next 7 weeks preceding my exam, which was on Oct 4th. The night before the exam
I listened once again. When I awoke the following morning, I felt surprisingly relaxed
and confident.
The examiner arrived to take me to the room and I felt a calm come over me. During
the exam, I was able to respond to the questions with ease, noticing that I seemed
to have a command of my language and delivery. My non-verbal communication with
the examiners was confident an self-assured. I was, indeed, enjoying the opportunity
being presented to me.
If you recall, when we met, I told you I had already taken and failed this exam
twice before. Since I was confident of my knowledge of the subject matter, I could
only attribute my lack of success to the text anxiety which I not only experienced
at these licensing orals, but often during important exams while in school. This
time, not only did I experience a complete absence of test anxiety, but I had a
satisfying feeling of self confidence and self assurance. I attribute this change
to the tools which I acquired in your program.
Sincerely, Bob L.
This letter was sent to a third party, praising Ben Moss’s program
Dear Dr. K.,
As a former participant in a number of your workshops I was well prepared for both
the written and
oral exams for licensure as a psychologist. I passed both exams and
am now licensed. I want to thank you and compliment you for the high quality of
the workshops.
I am also writing you regarding an experience that I found particular helpful in
my preparation for these two exams. This experience was with test anxiety expert,
Mr. Benjamin Moss. Mr. Moss is exceptionally skilled and has helped many people
prepare for both this and similar exams. For those individuals who are being impaired
by high anxiety for their performing well on the exams or in their preparation for
the exams the service Mr. Moss offers could be a valuable supplement to your quality
programs.
May this letter serve as an introduction of Mr. Moss. He has a wonderful service
to offer and could enhance performance for a number of individuals taking these
very stressful exams.
Sincerely, Kent P., Ph.D.
Dear Benjamin,
The reality has finally set in that I did it. I would like you to know that your
sessions were very instrumental in my success at the past
CSR exam.
As well as enjoying my sessions with you, I attained a lot of insight. You helped
me to recognize the opportunity to change my attitude and thought process regarding
my achievements in school. Once I began to credit myself with how far I had come
and realized the amount I had actually accomplished, I was truly able to believe
in myself. This belief process is so very important in acquiring the confidence
one needs to overcome the feat and anxiety that goes with you to the exam. I really
did feel like I had a secret weapon. Thank You.
I am currently employed at an agency in S.A. where I am preparing myself to get
out there and take some jobs on my own. The process can be time consuming especially
with the holidays. However I should be out there by the beginning of next week.
I am so looking forward to just jumping in and becoming more comfortable with my
work. I look back every now and then o the road behind me and think of all the times
I just about gave it up, and I am so thankful that I stuck with it long enough to
run into you. It was all worth it.
Benjamin, keep doing the great work you are doing. You are truly an asset to the
court reporting field, and I will continue to spread the work about your wonderful
work. I wish you much success and prosperity in the years to come.
Sincerely, Cynthia P., CSR
Dear Benjamin,
I would like to take a moment to thank you for all your help in preparing me for
the
CSR.
Your sessions really helped me to become more focused and gain self-confidence in
myself. Even though the weeks leading up to the CSR were stressful, I was remarkably
calm and relaxed.
On the morning of the CSR, I began to feel very nervous and anxious, but I quickly
composed myself by using your focusing and relaxation techniques. When I entered
the dictation room, I was completely calm and confident. I have never felt so calm,
relaxed, and focused while taking a test.
I truely feel that your sessions and CDs made the difference for me. I can finally
get on with my life and enjoy my career as a court reporter. Thank you again for
all your help.
Sincerely, Lesley B.
Dear Benjamin,
This letter is my "Thank you." you may now add me to your list of letters
thanking you for your help. Since my last meeting with you, I have regained my self-confidence
and am able to write at "my" speed, whether I am in a stressful testing
situation or whether I am just practicing on a tape. My test anxiety, although not
completely gone, is now a tolerable and sometimes helpful obstacle. I am able to
write clear and accurately, and when I feel the stress of a test, I am able to use
that to push me on.
I cannot tell you how good it feels to be writing at my true speed. And, did I mention
the best thing of all? My true speed is 200!! Yes, I have passed. I am now in the
200 and it feels wonderful to actually be working for speed rather than working
for a test. Thank you!! Thank you!!
I still have a ways to go in the world of
court-reporting school,
but now I have the comfort of knowing that my obstacles will not be myself. I'm
sure I will be seeing you again when I get to qualifiers. Thank God you are there!!!
I have told everyone I know about your services and highly recommend your program
to all those who are having problems such as I
was.
Again, Thank you. I can't say it enough. My only regret is that I did not try this
a year ago. I sure would have saved myself a tremendous amount of time and grief.
Until I see you again.
Best Regards, Kelley E.
Hi Benjamin,
I passed the
Feb. 2008 Calfornia Bar!!!!
I’m so grateful for your help with getting me to this point! You helped me
calm my nerves so I could just focus on studying the material and you helped me
to concentrate on the process at hand rather than the end result. It worked. That
was the key! I find myself using those same techniques in my everyday life – focusing
and concentrating on the task at hand rather than the end result. It’s actually
been helping me enjoy what I’m doing more. If I just stay wrapped up in the process
then it keeps the stress of ‘what if’ or ‘what will the outcome
be’ out of the picture. I truly needed these tools you gave me. They will
help me through life.
Thank you so much!
With great appreciation, Michele W., Esq.
Hi Benjamin,
I’m calling to tell you I passed the
February Bar Exam!
I’m happier than a playground full of kids. Thank you so much for your support
and help - I couldn’t have done it without you.
I’ve got to tell you I was ‘in the zone’ throughout the entire
exam, and when I finished the test I felt absolutely euphoric.
I cannot thank you enough, Randy H., Esq.

MFT exam
and received my license. If you recall I told you that I had already taken and failed

not only at these licensing orals, but often during important exams while in school.

Dear Benjamin,
I just wanted to thank you for all your help in my preparation for the oral exam
for
licensure as a psychologist. As I mentioned on the phone, I feel my
experience in your program with you made a significant contribution toward my achieving
the success that had previous eluded me. There is no denying its effect on the outcome!
I have passed your name and telephone number on to a colleague of mine at work who
has had some difficulty passing his oral exam for licensure as a social worker.
I hope he gets in contact with you because I feel certain you would be a great help
to him.
John Schipper, Ph.D.
Dear Benjamin,
The sessions allow you to stay relaxed enough to access what you already know—and
that's the key! I was really calm at the test and that gave me an advantage because
I could think.
Mr. Moss is exceptionally skilled and has helped many people prepare for this and
similar exams. He has a wonderful service to offer.
Kent P., MFCC, Ph.D.
Dear Benjamin,
I want to thank you very, very much for your help in getting me focused and in tune
with my speed writing. As you know, I was struggling with my Q&As in my 160
speed class for six months. After my third session with you, I passed my first 160
Q&A with 24 errors. I then passed my last 160 Q&A with only seven errors
after my fourth session in your office.
You focusing techniques and relaxation methods were truely the key to openeing the
door of better writing. No longer do I go into class with an anxious and fearful
attitude. It's as if someone gave me permission to proceed with no feat, no hesitation,
no restraints. I look forward now to each and every test because I am curious to
see how well I do with my focusing/relaxation methods.
With this letter, I am enclosing copies of the front pages of my last two 160 Q&As.
Notice the dates between each of the, how close together they are! This is my testimonial
to everyone that what you and I did together really, truly works.
Thank You, Diane H.
Dear Ben,
The November
CSR
was approaching and I was filled with a sense of dread. This would be my 6th attempt.
Even though I felt well-prepared for the test, and my writing was top-notch, I had
in the past jeopardized >my own chance of passing because of my level of anxiety
when placed in this testing situation. Each time, my nerves would cause me to have
jittery hands, sweaty palms, and loss of concentration. I would lose all hope of
passing even before the dictation ended.
This time would be different. I sought the help you your center. You instilled into
my subconscious the necessary ingredient I needed to pass the test. Just before
the test began, I used your technique and soon found myself quietly calk and mentally
alert. My confidence was such that I was able to write at my peak and get every
work as it was dictated. By the time the test was over, even before typing, I knew
it would be a pass.
Now I can finally get on with my career in court reporting. I want to thank you
for your program. It worked for me.
Thank You, Pauline Y.
